The Mount Lavinia Hotel will open the doors once again of its legendary “The Hut” on Saturday 12th November 2016, thus bringing back a flood of memories to all those thousands of patrons who reveled in and enjoyed dancing at the MLH in the years gone by.
The soft opening of ‘The Hut’ was held a few days ago in the presence of travel agents and friends from the media.
The new “Hut” will feature live music every Thursday and Friday night featuring bands ‘Mintaka’ and ‘Indigo’.
The recent soft opening was indeed a celebratory affair with entertainment for the evening featuring jazz trumpeter Mal Jennings from Australia backed up by ‘Jazz in Focus’.
Saturday will see ‘The Hut’ being transformed into a dedicated Salsa Club thus catering to the large number of dance enthusiasts who revel in strict tempo dancing.
Sundays will feature a traditional roast for lunch with live entertainment for the whole family where the legendary wining and dining at the Mt. Lavinia hotel come into focus.
Deals such as Happy Hour and a Shisha Lounge are also on the cards.
So if you wish to wine and dine and shake a leg …. then ‘The Hut’ is where you’ve got to be heading to …
