Brides of Sri Lanka together with Hilton Colombo hosts a lavish bridal show to raise funds for charity

Brides of Sri Lanka joins hands with Hilton Colombo to host yet another extravagant bridal show – a charity event to raise funds for the Maharagama National Cancer Hospital at 6pm on Sunday 18 September at Hilton Colombo.

“A Wedding Affair by Brides of Sri Lanka” is all set to leave the audience fascinated and spellbound by a grandeur show with over 50 legendary and rising dressers and designers taking part to present their intricate bridal designs and show-stopping haute couture. This charity event intends to raise funds for the Maharagama National Cancer Hospital and all proceeds from the sale of tickets and sponsorships will be donated.

BOSL2Among the prestigious and renowned dressers and designers who have pledged to put up a grand show are Harris Wijesinghe, Ramani Fernando, Aslam Hussein, Johann Peiris,  Ramzi Rahaman, Yoland Aluvihare, Fouzul Hameed (Hameedia), Ramona Oshini, Charini Suriyage, Indi Yapa Abeywardena, Dhananjaya Bandara, Indika Bandara, Romany De Mel, Romesh Atapattu, Brian Kerkoven, Kamil Hewavitharana, Dr. Anusha, Dil Sapukotange, Amali & Chathurika Jayawardena, Deepika & Hasini Gunasekara, Charith Wijesekara, Sumudu Wasantha, Baratha Indeera, Danushka Kuma,  Indu Karunaratne, Surangi Wijeratne, Manik Hulangamuwa, Neeliya Mendis, Sumudu Kumarasiri, Anura & Sapumal, Dulci Haththella,  Marina Perera,  Wedding Dreams, Calla Bridal, Maya & Anuththara Weerasekara, Damith Cooray (Kiito),  Imtiaz Hussain, Kanushka Sooriyabandara (Abba), PVS Jayaratne, Abisheka Mandapaya, and Iru Sandu Ransela Maligaya and more. On a more prestigious note, the entire show is choreographed by Lou Ching Wong.

With the experience of hosting “A 100 Brides” in 2013 – Sri Lanka’s grandest bridal show in history with 140 models & 50 designers, “A Wedding Affair by Brides of Sri Lanka” is evidently expected to outshine the former show. Moreover, the involvement of the leading dressers and designers guarantee that the show will exceed expectations and result in a successful event.

Tickets for the show are priced at 7,000/- and 5,000/- (all inclusive of cocktails & canapés and a pre-dinner snack) and will be available at the Hilton Colombo’s Public Relations Office from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and on weekends at the Special Events Desk located at the lobby.
